Hi, I’m Kirsten and I wanted to pop on this morning because I read a quote that made me think about how amazing it is that a startup business can hire an MVA.
What is an MVA?
MVA stands for marketing virtual assistant for as little as $400
And think about that, that’s not something you could have done 20 years ago.
So the quote that I read this morning:
“The man who stops advertising to save money is like the man who stops the clock to save time.” – Thomas Jefferson
With social media marketing technology and our ability to outsource in this amazing global economy.
There are more opportunities for startups and small businesses to market for leads, clients and raving fans that will tell the world how much they love you and your business.
An MVA is a virtual assistant who is highly skilled in:
- Social Media Marketing
- Email Marketing
- Lead Generation
- and they understand the value of building relationships in order to build your brand and your business.
A lot of times when I’m talking with people about hiring an MVA, they have huge concerns about whether or not an MVA can market in their voice and if they can do a good job.
Just remember, as the business owner, you’re in control of your Marketing Virtual Assistant, what they do and how they do it, you could just sign off on it to make sure everything meets your standards.
If you’re new to hiring and delegating we have a video titled delegate like a pro, make sure to check that video out next.
What are the tasks they can do for you?
So let’s really talk about the task that your virtual assistant can do for your business.
If you’re building a YouTube channel, the first thing is your virtual assistant can edit your videos for you.
They can also create your thumbnail, they can upload your video, they can transcribe your video, they can then promote your video on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, they can even send out your video in your email marketing.
They can even put your video on your website as a blog, it really depends on your marketing strategy, what you’re in be able to do.
Are you a blogger, or a podcaster? What are you doing to create original content that your MVA could use to market your business?
Here’s an interesting fact that I just read this morning: podcasting is on track to become a $1 billion business next year.
So that’s interesting, with the biggest players ranking in as much as 30million annually. If you’ve been thinking about starting a podcast, that’s definitely something your MVA could help you do.
Just the other day I was speaking with a really nice lady who was creating a course. And I asked her what’s your plan for marketing your course, she started telling me all about her course and it would include all the modules that she was teaching.
So I asked her again, what are you going to do to market the course she went on to tell me how many people were out there who desperately needed this course?
And how much it was going to help them. So I Asked her “Yeah, but how are you going to find those people?”
“How are you going to find the people that need your course?”
She was really sweet. And she said, “To be honest, I hadn’t really thought about that.”
Let’s face it, you can have the best course on the planet, or you can be the most talented interior designer in the whole wide world. But if no one knows who you are, this is what a great MVA could do for you.
They can tell the world who you are, they can tell the world what you offer, they can get you in front of those perfect customers and clients. That’s what a marketing virtual assistant can do for your business.
So as you can see, having an MVA on your team is imperative.
