Email Marketing Virtual Assistant; 3 Tips For A Great ROI
Email Marketing, if done right, has an incredible ROI.
Just listen to the stats from HubSpot:
“Email generates $38 for every dollar spent, which is an astonishing 38% ROI, making it one of the most effective options available.”
I have three tips to help you improve your ROI on email marketing.
Also keep in mind that your marketing virtual assistant can do a lot of these things for you.
Marketing is so important to grow your business. And in this day and age, it’s impossible to do it all on your own.

Obviously, the more people you have on your email list, the easier it’s going to be to close deals.
So you may want to consider creating multiple options. And this is something that your virtual assistant can help you with, you want to have options on your website.
On your landing pages, you can use options on all of your social platforms. All of these platforms are great places to grow your email list.
So let’s talk about some opt-ins that you or your virtual assistant can create.
Opt-Ins
It can be as simple as a checklist or a white paper, you can create a swipe file or template, you can host a webinar, or you can invite people on your email list to join a challenge.
There’s so many amazing things that you can do as far as opt-ins, your marketing virtual a
ssistant can help you create the opt-ins, they can also create the landing page to capture the email address.
And to deliver the content. They can also set up targeted email campaigns that will help you build relationships with the people who opted in, consider this, if they opted in from Instagram, it may be a little different than the person that opted in for your website.
So having different email campaigns is a huge way to build a great relationship.
One of the things I love most about using a marketing virtual assistant is it allows you to create amazing content.
When you’re providing value to people, they’re more likely to want to opt into your email list, they’re also more likely to convert to buyers.
So this is a great way to let someone else handle all the details. And you can focus on great content.
Segment your list
So let’s go ahead and jump into the second tip. And this is all about segmenting your list. Let’s start off with a star from HubSpot.
“Marketers who use segmented campaigns note as much as a 760% increase in revenue.”
Did you hear that 760% increase in revenue. So let’s talk about some amazing ways that you and your VA can segment your list.
The first one is do subscribers, make sure you put them in a campaign specific to them, so that you can welcome them. And you can start to nurture and build a relationship with them.
Make them feel really special. Let them know that opting into your email list was a great idea. Because you’re going to deliver amazing content, one thing you can do is actually create a video training that complements the opt in that they signed up for.
The next one is by open rate. If people consistently open your emails, it says that they’re very interested, that makes them hot leads, you can offer them a special pricing, you can deliver VIP content, or you could even offer them a beta program. If they’re opening your emails on a regular basis, they are really interested in what you’re doing. And you should strike while the iron is hot.
Another great way to segment your list is by opt in frequency. And what I mean by that is if you created multiple opt ins, and someone continuously signs up for them, it tells you that they’re really interested in what you’re doing. You could offer to jump on a call with them, you could offer to give them a special deal.
But no, if they’re signing up for everything that you’re doing, then they’re really interested in the product or service that you provide.
The next category is inactivity. These are the people who are on your list, but they are not opening your emails. Let’s try a campaign that offers social proof.
Trying to get them to see what others are doing may motivate them to open your emails. The next thing is FOMO fear of missing out, let them know hey, you haven’t been opening my emails, do you really want to be on my list? And then when they open that email, offer them something amazing or hint to them that they’re amazing things coming that they don’t want to miss out on.
There’s so many amazing ways to bring people back into the fold. And Having a segment a campaign dedicated to doing that can really help you keep people engaged and turn them into buyers.
Track your Stats
My third tip is tracking and tracking your numbers is never exciting, but with a marketing virtual assistant, it is so much easier, they can create a spreadsheet for you and put all the stats in there. This way you can review it and make strategic choices about how you can improve your ROI.
Everything we do in business and marketing is about looking at the data, and then finding ways to improve. The first one is open rate. That’s fairly easy.
You want to know how many people are opening your emails, you can check out data that tells you what’s the national average for your industry.
And you obviously want to beat that national average, there’s some great ways to improve your open rate. One of those is to have a great subject line, we use ConvertKit. And that allows us to do A/B testing on our subject line.
And we’ve found that that has really helped us out a lot. Other things that you’ll want to consider are click through rate, conversion rate, forwarding rates, bounce rate, unsubscribes, and spam complaints, just to name a few.
These are the numbers that you can consider having your virtual assistant put on a spreadsheet for you. You can also do a little more research and find out if there’s any other data based on your industry that you’d like to track.
All right now for the bonus tip. If you’d like to work with affiliate marketers, or perhaps JV partners, you should really set up an email list for your dreams, that’s 100 people that you would like to partner with.
In Other words, they have your exact target market. And if you could work with them, they could get you in front of everyone that you know.
Now this concept is really spelled out in Russell Brunson’s book Traffic Secrets. But we like to talk about how to set up specific marketing campaigns to your dream 100. You can start off by introducing yourself, find ways to add value for them, and then suggest a way to partner with them.
It may take a little while to build a relationship. So don’t give up. Continue to create great content and stay in front of the people on your dream 100 list. those partnerships and affiliate marketing relationships will happen for you.
